Medical fitness is mandatory for most Saudi employment visas from Bangladesh. Three linked steps confuse workers: the exam itself, the online medical report, MOFA, and the medical update by the center.

Medical examination

You will be sent to an approved medical center (often linked to GAMCA/Wafid systems). The center examines you and uploads results to the Saudi medical network. Until the report status is online, your file cannot proceed to MOFA.

When does the medical report appear online?

Usually within 3–5 days, sometimes faster. If the center contacts you for repeat tests, inform your recruiting office immediately. Tracking may show "Waiting for Medical Report" during this period.

MOFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) step

After the report is online, the recruiting office submits MOFA using your visa data and MOFA application number. MOFA often completes within 1–2 days. Workers typically do not visit MOFA offices in Bangladesh; the office handles submission.

Medical update

The same medical center must perform a medical update in the system after MOFA-related processing. This is not a new full exam in most cases—it is a system update. The office coordinates timing; you may need to return to the center only if they call you.

Practical tips

  • Carry passport and photos to every medical visit.
  • Save the office phone number for medical-related calls.
  • After medical update, prepare for Tasheer fingerprint scheduling in Dhaka.
