For many domestic worker visas, the first formal step in Saudi systems is Musaned entry, followed by the Musaned contract. These steps confirm that your employment relationship is registered before medical and MOFA work begins.

What is Musaned entry?

Musaned is Saudi Arabia's domestic labor platform. Your passport data is entered into Musaned by your recruiting office or sponsor's representative. Workers usually do not log in themselves; the office completes entry and updates tracking when done.

Musaned contract date matters

When the contract step is completed, the office records the contract date. This date is used internally for timelines and may be shown to workers through tracking systems. Keep your passport available if the office asks you to confirm spellings or dates.

Visa number and IQAMA (10 digits each)

At contract stage, correct visa number and IQAMA number (sponsor ID, 10 digits each) must be stored. Errors here cause problems at MOFA, Tasheer, and embassy typing. If you receive these numbers, verify them carefully against any paper from the sponsor.

What should you do during this stage?

  • Stay in touch with your recruiting office only through official channels.
  • Do not pay unknown persons promising faster Musaned entry.
  • Prepare for medical appointment scheduling once Musaned steps complete.

After Musaned contract, processing usually moves to medical report and MOFA—see our guide on medical report and MOFA.
